Compared to our 2013, the 2002 with the rounded nose had much better visibility and maneuverability. Trucks keep growing these days

Saw a single cab, short bed 1999-era GMC Sierra today and it really struck me just how small it looked. Low and small. The Ram in the lane next to it towered over it.

The A pillars on newer trucks are massive due to the roof crush standards.

Visibility is much better out of older ones. Just try and lay down if you're going over.

The camera angle exaggerates the size disparity between the two trucks somewhat, but it is something.

I had a 1999 Silverado looked a lot like this one. Exterior looked even smaller than the F150s at the time.

Haven't seen one of those goofy looking '97 and up Fords on the road around here for quite a while. Lots of Chevys of the same vintage used as daily drivers. Rusty, but still going strong.

I see some down south but you see way more 95-05 Silverados. I always say it in these old truck threads but that 10 year period for Chevy from 95-05 was golden. Although I didn’t like the look of the later “cat eye” chevys they were really well built
