I am sorry, Trump's lawyer paid her $130k that in October 2016. The payment came from a business in which Cohen (Trump's lawyer) established weeks before the election.
In 2006, soon after he got married, Trump had sex with Stormy, then all of a sudden, a decade later, weeks before the presidential election, Trump's lawyer gives her $130k. So you are correct. But she was given money to keep quiet about a sexual relationship she had with Trump. If I am wrong, please correct me.

The issue I had with it is that she was using it to promote her stip club tour much like she is with the Trump situation and in the process making Louisiana look stupid as frick when she hasn't even lived in LA in years. It was actually Larry Flynt who was behind her saying she was going to run against David Vitter. It was just to make waves about Vitter's sex scandal and him being in a DC Madam's black book and that he supposedly forced the woman, he was paying for sex, to get an abortion. Yet you get bent out of shape because Stormy Daniels was getting involved? If I recall, she wasn't even a registered voter in Louisiana, which meant she couldn't even qualify for the election, but at least she doesn't pretend to be what she isn't.

Yeah because the real issue with our state politics is that a porn star made headlines for campaigning for an election she couldn't even qualify for. That really gave Louisiana's political culture a black eye. It's not like she was stealing tax dollars or forcing women to get abortions while she pretended to be a "conservative".
