Born in 85, the perfect years. Right around the time where they actually started having fun sh** to play as a kid, and way before they had too much sh** to delude your childhood like nowadays. 70's, I don't know. Doesn't seem as fun as the late 80's early 90's would have been. Mid-late 2000's too much technology going on nowadays and the childhoods are just fkd. Late 80's - early 90's, IMO, will forever be the golden years of childhoods, and man, am I glad I got to be a part of that.

unlikely, based on national testing. Usa finishes in the mid 40s in math, after eastern Europe.

Northern Europe and east Asia are the top 10.

USA also ran.

All you have to see are the rebooted TV shows, movies, and even music to know that most people agree that it was the best time to be young

The 50 seemed like the ideal time. In between world war two and civil rights movement. Just a lot of working and baby making and country growing

I have kids in my neighborhood that are between 8 and 13 or so and they're never outside. Never. I used to look forward to getting out of school and running the neighborhood when I was that age. Ride your bike, collect your friends and seek out adventure.

Mine is a definite "get off my lawn" post.

The Oregon Trail Generation is the mini-generation between Generation X and Millenials. It’s basically 1979-1984ish. It really is a different group.

Were you one of those rich kids who actually had the JOE aircraft carrier?

I had to settle for Castle Greyskull.

I wasn’t a kid. I was born in 1950. Didn’t marry till I was 40. These were my “prime years”.
As the saying goes “if I could go back and know what I know now”.
