I’m going to play devils advocate here: Evil would imply some sort of premeditated action and a lack of remorse. As bad as his actions were, I don’t know that calling him evil would be appropriate.
That being said, I hope the legal punishment pales in comparison to his mental anguish.

I saw stuff like this on a regular basis when I worked on the peds floor. It is very hard to not get bitter and angry about it. Life is not fair and apparently the trashier you are...the more fertile you are.
We would see kids come in with injuries that made us suspect child abuse...and you would see the POS mothers actually take up for the boyfriends or baby daddys. Making excuses for them. The truth always comes out though....they can't keep the stories up too long.
