I know the cabs on those things really seem fragile but I'm wondering that klled him. Theres no sign of fire and to my (uneducated) eye it doesn't like there was much of an intrusion into the cab.
I hope his family are able to deal with this.

Damn. Must have gone out the window/door, maybe over the edge? Windshield appears to be intact from the pictures. Looks like the truck is facing the wrong way (into oncoming traffic) so I imagine he was spinning around when he hit the rail.
