That's not true. Longer fangs mean they can rip more flesh and cause deeper lacerations.
OK then. Go look up the stats for both breeds of how many people have been killed or injured to the point they require surgery for their wounds and lets compare the two.
Go ahead and post them when you find them so we can all see them together.

I would gladly euthanize the entire breed.

that part I believe is actually in their DNA. they used to be fought with bulls and they'd lock their jaws into the bull until it got tired or bled out

more about the jaw strength
this and the fact most other breeds bite and release...or snap

I'm willing to say what makes the pitbull the most dangerous is their build. They have lower centers of gravity than other breeds. Couple that with their muscular bodies, they are almost impossible to get off of you once you're attacked. That's why they make perfect fighting dogs.

I never said that, but the jaw strength is what makes the pit bite so much worse. if they lock their jaw and pull or shake their head, it can tear up muscle, not just skin

The world would be a better place if every dog was a beagle.

I see what you're saying. I'd add in a tendency to being territorial (this is especially true for the males) and a tendency towards being highly aggressive.

This past spring we adopted for my little girl a Shih-poo. It's a mix between a Poodle and a Shih Tzu. I figured it was going to be one of those annoying little breed dogs but since my little girl wanted it I went ahead a and got it for her. Turns out they're great dogs. He does not shed a bit (due to having poodle in him but does require a haircut every couple months), he's smart, playful, and best of all patient with a kindergartner. All in all I've been really pleased with the breed thus far.
Here's what they look like..

We also own a female pug but she's almost 10 years old. Afraid she's not going to be around too much longer.

I bumped into C-Nile in a liquor store in Prichard years ago. Before he went to prison.

I love the people that defend the breed by saying "If they are properly trained" blah blah blah. You can't train a pit to ignore its instincts. Just like you can't train a Tiger to behave like a house cat. Sometimes the instincts are going to take over and bad things will happen. I've seen well trained pits do this. They are just shitty dogs.
