The real question is how can they be eradicated!

The only solution I've seen that would have a chance of working would be to send out a lot of live bait with lethal loads of Tylenol. Pythons are ambush hunters and Tylenol is poison to them so releasing thousands of rats, mice and rabbit carriers could make a big impact.
It was interesting how they found that massive female by tagging a horny male and following it.

sounds like a terrible idea. and how a lot of horror movies start.

Invasive species in the everglades. You can get paid catching these monsters and getting them out of there.

Took 3 people to subdue? It would only take one shot IMHO

18' Python vs. 18" Python
Wow,
This thread could have gone a whole different direction...
( ' ) vs. ( " )
Apostrophe vs Quote.

Thankfully for now, Louisiana's winters are just cold enough to prevent them from coming here.

Something like 90% of the mammal population in the Everglades is now gone. Maybe they’ll eat themselves to death.
Otherwise there’s really no good solution. Maybe AI can create a virus that only targets them but that’s obviously risky lol.

Pythons aren’t the only invasive. Ohio and the third world are both doing their part too.

I think the Everglades horror movie began in earnest after Andrew.

They can't. It is now more of an attempt to control and manage issue. We're not going to eliminate them.

Poisoned live bait would make an impact.
In Guam, they have a major brown tree snake problem. One of the pilot programs being tested is to drop mouse fetuses wrapped around Tylenol because the tree snakes will eat anything dead. I don't know why they just don't use Spam for the bait. Pythons are ambush hunters so they won't go for Spam.
