Subtle brag.

If I knew the career equivalent to "congrats on the secks" I would use it here.

If you don't work for the state, you should apply.

Hey man I'm right there with ya

Went through around 15 majors not knowing what to do and finally got a fairly worthless degree..now getting another one in a STEM field after having worked construction off/on for around 10 years

In my mind I'll create a revolutionary product and run a million dollar business for around 20 years then sell the business, retire and run a charter boat part time and be a substitute biology teacher the rest of the time

I am 41, and decided to focus on what I am going to do in retirement vs. my career. I am struggling to do that.

Same as you (degrees and exp) without the Cert, and I don't even know what tell people when they ask me what I do. I say engineering-ish. I wish I could be an industrial designer, but I think I'm stuck as an engineering-isher.
