I never want to be anything in particular when I grow up. I get tired of a particular position really quickly and am always looking for the next challenge. Not like jumping ship at companies or anything, but climbing (or at least moving around) the company ladder. I went from engineering to operations to sales to looking into operations management eventually. I'll see what it looks like from there. I had plans on what I thought was my path, but each time I move, I see new things I'm interested in. I could go take the PE right now, but I can't ever see myself going back to that position. I plan to do it if I ever lose my job to have as a resume builder, but that's it. There's no way I could see having the same job for more than 3 years or so. I realize it will happen, but at that time, I probably will be unhappy with my job.

I think that's one of my issues. I've been doing the same thing for almost 10 years and have grown tired of it. It doesn't pose a challenge anymore and it's boring as hell. But like I said in an earlier post, I'm tired of working as well.
