While I most certainly blame the parents for this, I wish I could afford to spoil my kid like that and not think twice about it.

I'm amazed our kids have made it without the amount of money this girl spends.

I wish I had that amount of money, but I would not want to raise a kid like that.

I do not understand the huge kerfluffle about this young woman and this issue at all. I am totally confused by the confusion that some people are experiencing from this story for this simple reason.

This young woman is living the life that probably close to 95 percent of young women in the USA would love to live. EVERY aspect, and I mean EVERY aspect of our Pop Culture and Mass Media worships this lifestyle and endorses this lifestyle and these values as perfect and desirable in every way.

So I am not sure why I should be shocked because this young woman's story is neither new nor unique. The core of the story is that her Mom suddenly cut her allowance down to only 20 percent of its previous level, from 5k to 1k. This is a drastic cut equivalent to a cut from $100 to $20 per month. The argument here on the young lady's behalf is that Mom cut too drastically and too suddenly. A more smooth and generous cut is warranted.

So, shut up, Haters. Don't hate the Player, hate the Game.

Rock on, young lady. The Pop Culture and Mass Media of the USA made you what you are. Be proud and loud. If the Haters don't like it, tell them to sell all of their belongings and give it all to the poor, then to join a Monastery, if they feel so strongly about it.

Judge not lest ye be judged, Haters !

No Father mentioned, the money comes from her Mother's High End Dental Practice in Beverly Hills, according to some comments on another site.
(I know I wasted time reading it, but Dr. Phil gives such great train wrecks.)

That's the spirit, bro. Yours is a valid point of view. How can this viewpoint be bad when it is the point of view of every aspect of our Mass Media and Pop Culture?

You think you're joking but I'll bet that there are some folks in the industry in LA that are considering this idea right now, dude. Right now.

This reality show would make some money, IMHO.

Pretty spot on. I bet a lot of posters here have wives or daughters who watch those rich housewives reality shows or the Kardashians.

Are you brain dead, why would you want to give a child everything? What is she going to do when she is out on her own and has no clue what responsibility is? Make them work for it, earn that shite. The girl is spoiled beyond measure. Is it her fault, no. Her mother is too busy to raise her right so she throws money at her. When the daughter started to get out of hand, the mom tried to toughen up and now they're on Dr. Phil. Ridiculous.
