it sucks when a kid that age dies under any circumstances. But people need to wake up and see the consistencies in these stories. You don't have to read the article and you can picture what the victim is going to look like and usually the backstory. And not necessarily race, more along the lines of the thug/trash image, no schooling, and very little home/family involvement. The scene just keeps repeating itself in both NBR and in the trailer parks of Livingston and Ascension. That's not stereotyping, its facts.

While I agree the posts so far in this thread don't appear to have compassion for this young girls life, I do understand the overall desensitized nature of them. Shootings and young black kids dying is a daily or at least a weekly occurrence. Her parents should be charged with neglect. A 15 year old not in school and driving at night in a neighborhood she didn't belong in, and her parents don't have a clue why she was there. These teenagers have no direction, and no discipline from their parents. #sadlyNoOneWillMarchForThis

To be fair, race isn't the issue. I'd make senseless comments about a white guy who jumped in a tiger's den and tried to play with it.
When you quit school, dress like a thug, and hang out with thugs, it's kind of like playing with a Tiger in a cage.
