When your donut shop serves the best burgers, fried chicken, and boudin omlettes in town, come talk to me.

On Wendy's chili
"I used to work at Wendy's. The meat used in the chili, yeah that comes from the meat on the grill top that expires and dries up that's put in to a warming drawer until you have enough for a batch of chili, which we first freeze and then thaw the next day. Also if the chili sitting in the warmer doesn't sell fast enough we just added hot water to it to mix it up."
I see nothing wrong with this. I brown my meat before I cook a chili.

On the leftover hot dog thing...
I was an executive chef for Aramark Sports and Entertaiment years ago. Aramark runs foodservice at hundreds stadiums, ballparks and arenas around the country. They make so much money selling those cheap weiners and cokes at a premium price, a few leftover dogs and burgers were always tossed out.
Now whether or not that concession stand 'cook' knows how to properly cook your dog is another story.

Krispy Kreme is fricking delicious if you get it from one of the manufacturing stores.

Krispy Kreme FTW.
First ever job was at Krispy Kreme (the one on Clearview). It was an astonishingly clean and efficient operation. They made sure everyone was on their A game. Donuts made fresh every morning right there in house (although if you were ordering a batch of like 5000 they were put in the back and probably not very fresh).

If people want to really be informed they should ask their local plumbers/electricians/heating & AC service techs how sanitary the local restaurants are.
You'd be in for HUGE surprise I can promise you'd stop eating at a lot of these nasty arse places. Most of the worst offenders are the high dollar places like L***** *****e downtown.
frick that nasty place, it could seriously benefit from a high pressure Clorox scrubbing from ceiling to floor.

Not sure, but I do know cakes come in frozen at whole foods. They just thaw and decorate, then ask for your $35.

The Tastee Donuts across the street from the Krispy Kreme on Clearview was always WAY better. I remember when KK first moved to the location, people went crazy and lined up at all hours to get some. That just made it quicker for me to get a superior product.

Round Rock donuts are the best in the world. If you ever go to Austin make the drive north and wait in the line, it's well worth it.

As long as they gave me my paycheck I don't care what the better product was

I will say that there is no donut on the planet that I've had comparable to a Devil's food 5 seconds out of the hot glazing machine

pretty much every restaurant that isn't fine dining has serious kitchen issues. If you only pay 10$ an hour don't expect employees to care how clean the coolers are when they watch waiters make 4x their pay for doing a quarter of the work.

Its actually the opposite from my experience the fast food places have kitchens that are immaculate in comparison.
Go look behind the fryer or grill of a high dollar restaurant and see 1/2" thick of dried grease all over the gas line with roaches embedded in it and you'll know why they burn to the ground.
