I'm calling bullshite.
He says "Put the money in the bag", and she just walks over to the safe and opens it without any combination or extra effort and grabs a single blue bag to give to him.
He didn't say empty the safe or cash drawer. And we are supposed to assume all the money of the day happens to be in this slim blue bag. This is either BS or she is in on it 110%.

No matter the age, big boy crimes should mean big boy time.
Juvenile detention then off to the big house after turning 18.
