All the way to Bali

quote:

A cheeky schoolboy stole his mum's credit card and flew to Bali, spending four days living a life of luxury, after getting into a fight with his parents.

The boy, who has not been named, booked the cheap flight after researching online which airline would allow him to travel by himself without parental permission.

He managed to find a ‘cheap deal’ to the Indonesian island and booked the flight on a school day, 9news reports .

The resourceful youngster then managed to trick his Nan into handing over his passport and headed to the airport, via train, for his solo adventure.

quote:

By the time his parents had reported him missing, because he didn't show up to school, the boy was living a luxury life at the four-star All Seasons Hotel.

Something tells me he would be OK with everyone knowing his name.

That kid can be very successful in the future if he applies himself.

would love to know how he got a room (being 12)

ETA: my dad would have cancelled the credit card on me and said, "now let's see him figure it out!"

Something tells me it will have something to do with a stewardess who will soon be arrested for raping him.

Definitely a popular role model for other teens in Australia.

Now that's how you run away from home.

If I did that at 12 I would hate to know the arse whoopin my dad would have bestowed upon me

Is it weird to be in your 30s and have a 12 year old as your role model?
