I think I’d do worse today because of math. I remember it being a lot of geometry and I don’t really remember most of those formulas

12 on the ACT

That's what I got in 7th grade. Did good enough when it counted but I was so fricking hungover.

It’s total bullshite that kids these days can take it 4 times and focus on one area each time to use a “super score”

Part of the ACT is the grind to get through 4-5 hours of test after test after test after test with little to no breaks.

I know of a girl that made an 8 on her ACT.
Yeah an 8.
How do you make an 8?

Of course I made a 72. This is the OT.

Got a 30 the summer after junior year and a 31 the fall of senior year.

I embrace how unlikely this is coming from Pooturd

I truly though the lowest score one could make on it was a 14.

Why?

I agree. A few years after I graduated they started having classes weekly just to train kids for the test. We never had that preparation

IIRC, Cecil Collins got a 10 or a 12 back in the mid-90s.

When I asked one of my ex-teammates who played at LSU about that, he claims Collins went out partying the night before the test and passed out midway through, so they turned it in half-finished.

Given the stupid shite Collins later did in his life, I find that very believable.

It’s the reading comprehension section that bogged me down. Not for actual “reading comprehension” or anything. But it was the third section (right after English and Math) and I had no patience on a Saturday morning to be reading four 10-paragraph essays about some archeological dig in China or Sarah’s trip to the grocery store with her grandmother.
