for me when I have done the greyskull frequency method or their challenges it really has helped my body comp and this is no different. Just need to do lots of pullups to balance everything out. you and all the wendler crew should really read up on the greyskull methods. They all carry over to what wendler teaches.

I'm in for 10,000 push ups and 100 miles.
No way I can do 200-300/day the first few weeks. Does anyone have a plan that builds up the daily number over the course of the month for a beginner?
A quick excel calculation tells me that if I do 4 sets daily, and increase the reps by 1 each set, then the math works out.
Starting with 25:
Day 1: 25+26+27+28=106
Day 30: 141+142+143+144=570
Total in 30 days: 10,140
These numbers don't even seem possible but I'll start tomorrow and see how far I get before my arms fall off.

Yes, by day 30 you should be able to do 144 in a row easily.

Why you laughing? Thats a ton of volume over a month. That would destroy, say, a 5-3-1 week where I'm really hoping to hit a maximal double.

I'd be happy with either result after this next month...

Doing that many in a month can't be good for you, right?

its fine. read up on military training and body weight training in general. Key is breaking it down into easily manageable sets

I'll give it a shot but if it starts fricking with my job I'll have to quit.

Im breaking mine into 7 sets of 50 each day. I doubt I will be able to maintain 50 in a row by the end of today but will get 50 in each session.
Set 1- after coffee, before I get dressed in the morning, 2- when I get to work waiting on the CPU to wake up, 3- morning break at work, 4- before lunch, 5- afternoon break, 6- when I get home from work, 7- before bed. At some point I will try to throw 2-3 more sets of 50 in and finish early or go for 15K.
Didnt start until morning break this am, so todays schedule will be different, but goal is to get caught up before I head home.

Alright I'm gonna try. No way I can do it because I'll be in messico for a week vacation.

I'll be too busy actually lifting to ruin my workouts with this fad of a challenge

Still hit the gym 5-6 days a week, figured this would be a fun challenge though.
