Just curious if anyone doing this challenge does not already work out on a regular basis? If not why not just join a gym or do you plan on using this as a bridge to starting a workout routine?
This guy.

Day 2 29+30+31+32 for 122. This is after 106 last night, pulling an all nighter and flying all day and drinking all night. Where there is a will there is a way. Going to be on vacation for the next 6 days drinking, smoking, maybe snorting Colombian blow and banging prostitutes. I plan on keeping my 4 sets increasing by 1 each day and incorporating some running to also hit my 100 mile goal.

I only did 66 today for a total of 400. Got some work to do tomorrow to catch up

day 1 i did 240, day 2 felt like shite(unrelated) and didn't do any. Gonna try and knock out 400 today.

Why would people sacrifice major gains for a silly challenge? Those are gains you can't get back

Maybe people aren't worried about "major" gains. Maybe they want to trim down and build long lean dense muscle.

I slacked yesterday, but I am doing more today than I was on day 1! I am about 150 push ups behind where I wanted to be at this time but if I keep increasing per day I will make that up in no time!

500 day 1 350 day 2 and currently at 250, plan to do 350 total today and another 500 tomorrow.. And yes this is getting old quick!
I try to knock out 100 as soon as I wake up and roll out of bed before my body even has time to say NO!

You think this will be achieved by doing a few hundred pushups for 30 days straight?

ME. I'll probably use this as a bridge. I'm a member of a club in NOLA. Frankly I just don't care to work out regularly. I need an end goal to shoot for...Like a marathon/half marathon, or pushup challenge
another 340 in the books today.
that's 1,020 in the first 3 days. Trying to keep the quality of the reps high. After I work through most of the soreness, I'll start raising the amount of reps per set

Lagging behind the past two days, I am looking at other push up styles to get a better body workout and not just do 10000 reps of the same thing.

I think doing 10,000 push-ups, 1000 pull-ups and 100 miles while continuing my diet will get me shredded.

In a month?

Considering I'm already in decent shape, yes. I've done it before.
