You can quote the relevant parts without quoting the entire thing.
Your title is fake news as frick and misleads people into thinking it was a normal game and a kid got arrested.

it's absurd for you to act like this was just a random normal incident in a normal dodgeball game.
do what? you think it's absurd to get hit in the face in dodgeball?

The boys were all outside playing a game at recess. This game is a game that the boys call "Tips" (how do they come up with these names? I swear...). In this game, the group of players stands in a circle and throws a ball up in the air to each other while they jump in the air. A couple of rules-- In order to catch the ball you have to be jumping, and if the players break the circle, the game is over. This game, if you ask me, sounds very exhausting. No thanks.
When the circle was broken (for those of you keeping score at home, that means the game was over) and everyone was chasing the rogue ball, Boy #2, I guess, did not cope with the loss (?) well. Boy #2 proceeded to stand less than a couple feet from Boy #1 and throw the ball they were all playing with directly at Boy #1’s face so hard that it made the recess attendants cringe. After the incident, Boy #2 said, “That’s what you get!” and walked away from Boy #1, leaving him in tears.
well if this is true then it certainly changes things
I'm still not sure about charging a 10 year old with assault though

I'm gonna post a long thing from the Detroit Reddit page that gives a version of what happened. It may be a case of bullying.
That makes far more sense given the fact DAs don't typically drop assault charges on kids for dodgeball.
Darth was so excited to proclaim this country is going to shite that he forgot to use any common sense. Go figure.
Posted on 7/31/19 at 8:20 am to GetCocky11
so, were they actually playing dodge ball or not?

If you keep reading the very post you quoted from, I literally said the kid with that condition shouldn't be playing a game where it's common to get hit in the face.

It wasn't dodgeball, for starters.

Lol I thought the same thing. Let’s step back for a minute and hear all the details.

Common sense says the mom named Cameishi who goes to FB to ask for money is probably full of shite and clearly telling only one side of the story.
Just want to point out I nailed this before getcocky posted the reddit story.

So much WTF in this story.
I'm legitimately amazed that they still play this at school. I figured it would have been cut out years ago.
Why the frick was he playing dodgeball then? Did the school know about this condition? Did the PE teacher know about it or just the administration or nurse?
Well that's just fricking comical.
It's elementary school, how do you know that the kid was aiming at the face? He could have just been throwing in the general direction and happened to hit the face. Plus how is an elementary school kid going to throw it hard enough to inflict facial tissue damage? Were they playing with baseballs or something?
So this has happened before, you know about his condition, and he's still out there playing dodgeball? Was it the same kid that hit him before? Is this a bullying issue with this one kid or was it someone totally different?
It sounds like the kids are the only one with any common sense in this whole matter.

Lindely learned that her son was being charged with aggravated assault in the 3rd Circuit Juvenile Court in Detroit, Michigan.
Well that's just fricking comical.

According to a police report filled after the incident, Bryce intentionally threw the ball at the boy's face. "He sustained facial issue damage to his face. He had a black eye and a bruised nose," a parent at the school told local station WXYZ-TV.

I swear to god you’ve got to be a woman the way you whine and bitch in literally every fricking thread you choose to infest.
I quoted the first few paragraphs as is standard practice then linked the rest so whoever wanted could then read the read the rest of the story. But here you are bitching because you think I should hold your little hand because you apparently see to think it takes some sort of great effort to click a link.
So unless you want to discuss the story itself, stop your bitching.

I think it is the only choice when you have a parent who refuses to be a parent.

This thread has a little bit of everything.
Fake news is impressive. This Bryce kid is apparently a massive bully and did apparently assault the kid, yet without the full details, people are using it as an indictment of the school system and the future of this country.
