There’s no points for second place.

I'd like to go to NAS Pensacola and watch them practice.
Basically a few times a week starting at 11:30 all summer long. Come on over.
Oh, and definitely show your American pride and bring your AR through the NAS gates. The guards love it!

LOL!!! I'd love to see someone try, I'd venture to say the only ones trying to get ARs onto NAS Pensacola are the gumps on vacation.

Saw them practicing yesterday while on the Architectural Boat tour. I guess it wasn’t the entire squadron since this happened in Pensacola. Seems like they’re flying much faster when next to the skyline. Really cool watching them fly over Trump Tower and the Willis Tower(pronounced Sears as the tour guide said...)

i went down last thursday for the practice session and anchored the pirate schooner (all 13' 8" of 1966 fiberglass) on Sand Island, which is off the south tip of the N-S runway at the NAS. they flew the diamond 360 formation directly overhead in a tight bank, at what felt like about 500 feet altitude. the interweb says they're going about 400 mph in that formation. it was impressive, to say the least.

I've never seen a BA show with my own eyes. Only videos and pictures. However, we were in Ft Lauderdale in April and 2 of them cruised down the coast super close. It was the most red blooded American thing I've ever seen. People everywhere were standing up on the beach, around hotel pools, balconies, and screaming and cheering. It gave me chills. Merica
I've probably seen about ten of them plus the practices during the week before the shows. One of the perks of Naval aviation. The best airshow I witnessed was an at sea event that involved jets dropping live ordinance while screaming past the port side of the ship. I've also been hit with the air wave from a F-14 sonic boom on a hangar deck level pass. That was pretty fricking cool.

Just saw these guys at the Grand Junction Air Show week before last. Used to live across the street from NAS New Orleans, we'd camp out on top the house.
