An old man with dementia wanted some ice cream

"Hey son, I've been craving some ice cream," he said. "Let's go to Kmart and eat at the cafe."

"Dad, Kmart shut down years ago," his son said.

He then turned to his grandson. "Take me to Woolworths, I want some ice cream."

"Grandpa, Woolworth shut down even before Kmart," said the grandson.

He looked at his son again and said "how about Home Depot? Let's go there."

"Dad, Home Depot doesn't sell ice cream."

The grandson interjected, "why don't we go to McDonald's? I'll drive us there."

"Nah," said the old man. "Their machine is usually broken."
