TE 3 with no prior experience necessary.

Welcome aboard.

put him in to block FG's as well.

Zion in a 2 tight end set with Jared Cook could buy Brees 2-3 more years

Him opposite of Davenport with Cam at DT would put a lot of pressure on the QB.

He'll be a useful redzone TE for the playoffs.

All seriousness this kid would make a solid TE.

He’s built nearly exactly like Julius peppers out of college

He’s way more explosive than Peppers. That a shitty comparison. He’s Peppers on Superman juice. Did you see Peppers play for Dean Smith? You think he’s the same athlete as Zion?

You obviously didn’t ever visit Dr. Rosenberg for the Lasix surgery, geez.

All he said was that they were built the same. This is a fact.

He could have easily gotten us to the SB even post-screwjob

My sources are indicating that Zion is our new QB heir apparent.

He has the build and athletic ability to do it. The question is, as is with all basketball players, does he have the desire to deal with the contact. How we he handle be checked at the LoS when he lines up tight? What about when he goes over the middle and the LBer and/or safety put their shoulder through his chest? And the inevitable CB that takes out his knees when he's in the air catching a jumpball?

There is a mental mindset that is required to deal with these things, and not everyone has it. Especially, if they have not played full contact football at any level (I have no idea whether he has). We saw it first hand with JG as soon as he started getting injured running across the middle.

Edit: With that said, Loomis can pull off a contract that puts most of his money with the Pelicans since the NBA can go over the cap.
