And he'd still manage more sacks than Mingo in all of those snaps.

He could play a whole season and get as many sacks against shittier opponents who throw the ball more.

so it is the weight we want him at

So DeMarcus Ware was a bad pick because he weighed too little coming out is college? Bruce Irving was a bad pick? No! Those guys work out and get bigger over time.

What the hell did Ansah impress you with? His half a sack agains San Diego State or his two sacks against Utah State? Or was it his other sack and a half during the season?

I don't hate Mingo. Ansah was getting better while Mingo regressed. He's bigger than Mingo, just as fast, just as quick, etc.

He has way more upside IMO

Von Miller 6' 3" 237 18.5 sacks

Most of the top rushing OLBs are listed as under 260 on NFL.com

What about Jamie Collins from Southern Miss? He's 6-3, 250 lbs. What about Bruce Irvin?

And what about Ansah's lack of paying time, lack of instincts, lack of production, lack of stamina and lack of competition? That doesn't cause concern at all? But 10 lbs does?

thats right, but didn't they run a 3-4 his rookie year when he had 11.5 sacks as a rookie?

Even so there aren't any 270+ pound OLBs in 3-4's making a ton of sacks.

But for every one of them there is a Tyson Jackson or Sen'Derrick Marks.

BTW, all those guys played for a BCS school. Ansah could end up being more like a David Veikune or Larry English.

The reason i don't want Mingo is he relied on his speed and athleticism. He got pushed around by good RTs(Fluker, Matthews) and he won't be able to do what he did in college at the NFL level. Like someone else said give me Star or Jarvis Jones

Not every other prospect works out. Remember Walter Thomas??? 300+ DT that could do back flips and wow you with his athleticism. Remember what happened to him?? That's right, cut 5 minutes into camp.

For every freak prospect with "potential" that works out, I can name 5 that don't.

bit of a difference between a late round/udfa prospect and a guy supposed to go in the top 10. Mingo is technically a prospect at OLB as well.
