@AlbertBreer: BYU's Ezekial Ansah is here with the Eagles today, as @TonyPauline said. Also has visits to Cleveland, Arizona and New Orleans set up."

YES!!! He is the guy that i hope that we draft.

If he doesnt fall to us i would even be willing to trade up a few spots and get him.

I wouldn't be willing to give up what few draft picks we have to pick a guy that is raw and will not be ready to make an immediate impact for our Defense. This guy might be great, but he also might be another workout warrior bust. If he falls I love him at 15, but with no 2nd rounder, we need all the picks we have.

This guy will be long gone by 15! I hope they dont trade up to get this guy. I am tired of giving draft picks away. If we are gona trade up then trade up for a LT, a sure starter. Ansah is a total project at OLB.

Meh. Would be more excited if we were still a 43 defense. I think it will require an even steeper learning curve at OLB. Wouldn't be mad at the pick, but would rather someone who projects more easily there.

Do not want. Draft a football player instead of a freak athlete

I've kind of got issues with Ansah.
Why did it take 2 guys getting injured before he ever saw the field? Work ethic issues?
And where's his production? He had 72 tackles and 4 1/2 sacks. I'm just not impressed with 2 sacks against Boise State, 1 sack against Utah State and Georgia Tech and 1/2 against San Diego state.

I see the potential, but I just think he has some issues is all. I'd be ok if he fell to us and we picked him, but I'd rather Jordan, Mingo or Jones. And I don't want to trade up to get him!

He's a Jason Pierre-Paul type prospect. Elite, ELITE, upside. Like if he were to put it together, this dude could be one of the best players in the game. Even if you get half of that upside, he can be a very good, productive player.

Athleticism projects (the key word) that he'll be able to drop back into coverage well, and for a guy that didn't see the field much and doesn't really know the game, he's very physical so he projects as someone that can be an every down player that can stop the run as well.

Guys like him always get taken early because it's worth taking the risk imo.

I think Jarvis Jones is the best pass rusher of any of them. After that I'd say Dion Jordan because he's shown the ability to rush and spent a lot of snaps at Oregon dropping into coverage (and doing it well)

Ansah and Mingo are similar prospects to me. Mingo has more experience while being a freak athlete in his own right that you'd expect to play much better as a stand up linebacker so I may even go with him over Ziggy, but I get the motivation to take a shot on him.

If the Saints would trade up, I would hope it would be for one of the OT's, too many good DE/LB prospects this year to trade up for Ansah.

agreed...not to mention he is extremely intelligent and seems like a phenomenal kid. He is the swing for the fences pick in this draft.

I don't quite get how Mingo has bust written all over him, and this guy is going to be the greatest player ever. Lets me real. He doesn't know how to play football yet.

Right now he is just big and fast.

If either guy has a decent shot at bust potential, I will take the bigger, stonger guy, smarter guy (he had a scholarship for fricking Math...he could likely win the Payton if he posted here) who is just as fast despite being 30 lbs heavier.

Your good to go with Brown at tackle? I'd say tackle is bigger need than CB.

if he's a bust, lets turn him into jimmy 2.0 at TE!
