No offense y’all, but I think the sudden progressions of Jayden and Joe have LAU fans halfway just assuming Nuss is going to do it too.
I think Nuss is a good QB, but y’all are probably setting yourself up for disappointment if you guys think he’s going to take the giant leap of those other two. He doesn’t need to in order to be an NFL-caliber guy, but I would bet decent money no one will be “tanking” for him at all.

Like who else are we going to take, you really think we’re passing on the coaches son who’s 50 minutes away is crazy. Thats if he does what he has to hold his current position.
Top prospect + nfl coach dad + nfl coach dad in the same state as the prospect = unlimited scouting advantages.
I don’t see how this isn’t highly likely. Dad isn’t getting another job we’re going to suck so he’s coming back.

that isn't what is happening, NFL teams don't plan to lose. In fact, I am very sure we will win more than five games next year
But this is definitely what this board wants to happen and why everyone is so resistant to taking a stab on any other QBs.

This isn’t exactly the same as saying a rookie head coach is obviously going to tank to get Nussmeier. The likelihood the Saints will be bad enough to be able to draft Nussmeier isn’t exactly some earth shattering revelation.
