it makes lots of sense if you're a jameis pumper that he was the guy for the team to have success with.

Maye allowed that long TD to Perriman. Williams breaks that play up.

Because the Saints never gave up big plays while Williams was playing deep? Your continued melt about Marcus Williams is embarassing.

His defense just gave up 400 yards passing and 6 TDs to the Dolphins. He isn’t some force of nature that teams can’t throw against out there.

No, but he was perfect for this defense.

I'm not out on Maye, but he needs to get it together, and soon.

Posters need to stop blaming refs. The Saints had a drive extended due to a couple of questionable calls. Fact is, Winston was off. And the defense couldn't sustain, especially being on the field all game. Lastly, Tampa is a pretty good team. 5 turnovers will kill vs bad teams.

No, but if you watch the play, it's exactly the type of play MW performed here nearly perfectly from his rookie season on

His over the top coverage allowed us to play the aggressive man D that makes Allen's defense go

Maye just doesn't have the range of MW. Almost nobody in today's NFL does. That's why he was so valuable.

We have to hope and pray that we get a nice haul for CSP.

We need that haul IN ADDITION to the picks we gave up for Olave

Maye wasn’t even in coverage on the deep ball yesterday. It was PJ Willams playing deep.

Don’t let SFP’s melting about Maye get in the way of actual facts.

The over the top coverage is the back of the end zone. PJ Williams was even turned when the ball came out, he did a poor job tracking it

The were in 4 wide and two of the routes went to the up middle of the field to where Maye was positioned, and a third was right past the 1st down marker. I reckon he was “playing centerfield”
