Defense played fine given the injuries and offense they were facing.

Defense couldn't tackle for shite, and couldn't get off the field on third down. Offense wasn't much, but that doesn't let the D off the hook.

It's really not.

Saints Offense played like shite today and gave the rams offense more opportunities to score and get sustained drives going.

And thus the defense gets gassed.

Sure looked like Ginn had separation on the pass that Brees underthrew. That was a touchdown if he gets the ball over the dbs reach.

To me, Payton should have gone up tempo earlier, particularly when we had run about 17 plays less than the Rams and especially when it looked like Brees was not in rhythm. It would have allowed us to run or pass and gotten the Rams tired.

It really is. The Rams put up 415 yards of total offense

That’s unacceptable

Excuses are for losers.

The defense should have stepped up.

This game was 100% on CSP and drew, horrible offense bailed out by Kamara.

Well, they must have been 20-25 on 2nd down, cause they were moving the frick out of the chains. And please don't try to tell me the Saints tackled well.

It was a total team failure, imo. Offense sucked it up (and Rams D is good), and the defense was porous.

The D got enough stops to win if the offense was playing well, but not enough for a shitty offensive day.

And special teams started out rough

They gave up 354 yards passing and 2 TD’s

Soft-arse zones and pathetic tackling.

It's like you ignored the rest of my post where I said the offense sucked arse too.

Kamara was basically the only offense we had. That is also unacceptable. Both the offense and defense played poorly

So?

That's what happens when your own offense can't stay on the field long enough to score points and sustain drives.

327 yards but ok. Defense also held them to 88 rushing yards.

Defense played good enough to win that game. Offense did not

The saints defense held the rams offense below their season average of points per game without their two best corners and the dline and linebackers being a bit nicked up.

They'll be fine.

Offense just didn't show up today to help out the defense.

They held them to 4 FGs and the special teams gave up two 40 yard returns

We couldn’t cross the 50 and when we got into the RZ, SP kicks a FG on 4th down down 2 TDs

Rams held the ball for 35 minutes, helped by 112 penalty yards by the Saints.

3 of those penalties were offensive penalties, one being the offensive PI against Hoo man.
