Ours does not exist.

We dont have any semblance of a running game.

We will never win without a running game and relying on Shough every week to be a hero.

Its impossible.

And somehow with the massive investment in the O line we still don't have one.

Until we get any kind of running game going the misery will continue.

We had a running game two years ago with less investment.

The Saints still finished 14th in the NFL and averaged 114ypg with McCoy hurt. We started four backups that year at various points and rushed better than Moore’s product. The “we need to draft another OL” folks are missing the forest for the trees.

We also had a garbage QB that became a high school QB in the red zone.

And a run defense.

The Saints have nether.

You're not fixing both of them at this point in the season and you might not even be able to fix either of them.

The biggest question that the staff of bother sides need to be answering is why? Is it personnel or scheme, and if it's both you're really screwed. If the coordinators and line coaches cannot come up with some honest answers to some hard questions, then there's your problem.

On defense it's personnel imo. Staley isn't very aggressive tho. He loves sitting back on defense. I don't really love Staley.

On offense it's coaching and scheme.

They kept trying to run and there was nothing there. Finally, gave up passed more. If you have no running game to speak of and pass every down the defense will be all over the passing QB.
