After Drew Brees' 2020 season, would Saints fans and the city of New Orleans support a XFL team owned by Brees.

A lot can change by 2020.

There may not be a XFL.

It is just a hypothetical.

Nice comeback.

Since we are doing hypotheticals why not have Drew win the WWE heavyweight championship?

He did wrestle an alligator.

Maybe he quarterbacks a team in New Orleans after he finishes his NFL career.

He likes things that make money which the XFL will not be.

The history of startup leagues do support your assumption.

Would be nice to see a league give the NFL a run for the money.

I think it would fail..
Buuuut... if new Orleans signs on , I pray for the voodoo to come back.
Great logo and color scheme.

I think the XFL will most likely target markets without NFL teams. That would probably be the wisest business decision. They will not be able to directly compete with the NFL. But they can go after a market like minor league teams do. Out here the Durham Bulls Minor league baseball team is huge.

I would assume that the XFL will first be focusing on regions with large populations and pre-existing infrastructure (MLS stadiums or former NFL stadiums) that currently lack an NFL franchise or major college football program (San Diego, St. Louis, Portland, San Antonio, Albuquerque, Orlando, Sacramento, Oakland, Memphis, Oklahoma City, Salt Lake City, Birmingham, Boston, etc).

Not only this but also cities where some NFL teams have struggled to compete with them. I expect cities like Portland, Salt Lake City, Oklahoma City, San Antonio, St. Louis, San Diego, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Orlando, Mexico City, Oakland, Birmingham, and Toronto

Huh?
I think there's an NFL franchise in the greater Boston area. Pretty successful one, too; I don't think the XFL wants to challenge that market.

If the games are on the up and up, I won't mind watching the B team players.
