He could have still waited and spiked the ball. Now you give them 19 sec with a kicker that can hit from 60 yards

This is how we lost the tim couch game in ‘99. BJ Tollover spiked the ball or called time out and left too much time on the clock. 22 or 25 seconds

He had a mental lapse. Thought the clock was running, totally fricked him up.

It was third down. He spiked it on third. Could have just did a run. It was 30 seconds on the clock

Can't the coaches talk to him over the headset? How did no one tell him the clock wasn't running on the 1st spike and then no one told him to wait until 3 secs left to snap the ball on the 2nd spike?

Winston has an high arm talent and a low football IQ. Find the ref near the play's end signaling for clock stoppage or for it to continue to run.
As far as the 2nd one...it shouldn't take someone telling him over headset to milk the clock. That's some high school level football knowledge.
Came really close to costing us the game.
