Yall need to realize that a rebuild can also mean trading for talent. Vele is a huge piece to this puzzle. Hence the reason CSP made us give him a 4th.

I said in the cooks signing thread, signing a 30+ year old midget receiver to a hefty salary when you were already way over the cap is not rebuilding.
That’s the problem I have with Loomis.
No clear direction. And there hasn’t been one for years. After trading a premium draft pick for Vele, the cooks signing looks even worse. That trade at least makes some sense on its face.

No, he means Loomis.
Moore can request a WR and even name the one he wants… but it’s Loomis’ job to determine if it’s in the teams longterm best interest… to Sign someone, does the contract fit the budget, trade compensation if applicable, etc.

Another reason Loomis should be fired.

He was a good receiver early on.
Age has caught up with him and he can’t help us now.
The reason he’s played for a number of NFL teams is because he’s a Locker Room Cancer.
It shocked me that Moore requested that Loomis bring him on the team !!
Hopefully he’ll be cut cause he can’t help us
