We still need a lot more help on D. We can’t afford to take a WR at 27 unless we add more pieces on D in FA.

We can still get Matthews, Pryor or Decker at WR now as well.

There really aren't any glaring holes on defense anymore. Maybe we could add another DE or DT but I think we would be fine with the guys we have. Okafor was great last season and Hendrickson was productive too filling in after he got hurt. Our linebackers are solid and we added Davis.

Here are the free agent WR's available...

I'm guessing he's not listed because he's RFA, but Cameron Meredith is one to keep an eye on.

I would take Chark over Kirk

I don't know about that. Kirk is a little more polished to me and would be an immediate impact PR.

There are a few that I probably left off. Let me know if you see anymore.

I could see any of these guys having a great season catching the ball from Drew.

Not worried, someway, somehow we are going to draft some WR from Ohio State or sign a guy that played for them and he will be the shite.

Am I the only one who doesn’t want any part of Christian Kirk?

I wouldn’t rank one above the other but LB,

Davis filled that need honestly. So out of Klein, Anzalone, Davis, Te'o, Robertson, Mauti, Stupar who you benching? Because our obvious starters right now are Klein, Anzalone and Davis.

Now this one I can see as a need but not immediate, Okafor was playing awesome before he got hurt last year then you still have Hendrickson, Kikaha, Muhammad and Onyemata.

As far as WR right now we have MT, Ginn(103 years old) and thats about it.

And TE we have Fleener(drops half his passes and never lived up to his contract) Hill ( pretty good but not a starter) & Hooman (Great for a couple catches but is awesome in the blocking game)

Eli Rogers from Pit, would be a great third WR.

yep

also

Michael Campanaro - one of the most productive guys from slot on a per target basis and can return punts

Brice Butler - big, fast WR who was buried in DAL bc of the team's commitment to guys like Dez and Terrence Williams

Jeff Janis - same as Butler except GB

Deonte Thompson - flashed a bit with CHI and BUF with bad passers. Good ST guy too

I thought: I've never heard of this guy he must have torn it up and I just didn't realize it.

2016: 0 Receptions for 0 yards
2017: 19 receptions for 173 yards and 1 TD.

I'm sure the per target basis thing is true but come on man.

bunchy I imagine you prob scoffed at the thought of adding an UDFA out of Ball St who was cut by the browns. ya gotta trust the fit sometimes. can you get open and can you catch? we are talking a piece to the puzzle not wes welker. What we do with the rest of the money matters, I see camp as more of an affordable option

And Baltimore is a wasteland for slot WR production as Flacco favors the TE and RB
on short to intermediate routes.

If he wants to go have passes 3 hop in front of him for a couple years, then by all means go to Baltimore. He costed himself a ton of money last year, and he is easily replaceable. Also, look at the track record of "system guys" once they leave the Saints. We've been doing this long before you and we'll be doing it long after you are gone

I still contend that Snead's only problem in the Saints offense was that he was seldom or never the #1 option on a play unless Drew needed a 3rd and 3.

How often did Brees not throw to his pre-snap read or 1st or 2nd option on the play?

Snead just wasn't targeted in the offense.

I would love Cam Meredith.

He is an RFA but he did get the same treatment Snead did. Signing him would not cost a draft pick

Snead & Cam Meredith both visiting the Ravens. Both of them are also RFA's.

Free agent Terrelle Pryor is expected to sign with the Seahawks or Jets.

I wonder where Trey Quinn is projected to be drafted. I think he would be a great slot guy for the saints. Heady player , brings his lunch pale , blue collar guy.
