There aren’t really any “buts” that take away how good they are. They’ve completely demolished the Panthers today in all phases. Saints are very good too. We’ll just have to beat them.

Damn I wish saints were coming to Levis. I have access to 35 Hardline tickets for every game. I just still have a disdain for the 49ers from the 80s and 90s so don't go watch them.

I like our chances.

We’ve been playing good ball for weeks now.

49ers are a very good team but using the Panthers as a gauge is not a good idea. Panthers are fools gold. They played shot teams including a Hyde version of the Texans. That will make anyone look good and they didn’t really blow out teams during that time.

Their two best wins already have 3 losses and have looked like shite against weak opponents.

As you should. Joe Montana is the GOAT but I sure hated him back in the day. They kept some very good Saints teams from higher playoff seeds.

what crazy... is that the NFL's only other undefeated team (Patriots) has had an EVEN EASIER schedule through 8 weeks

for comparison's sake... let's look at the Saints 1st half of the season schedule...

HOU 5-3
LAR 5-3
SEA 6-2
DAL 4-3
TB 2-5
JAX 4-4
CHI 3-4
ARI 3-4-1

32-28-1 (.533 OPP winning percentage)

so the Saints have had a harder 1st half of the season BY FAR... and navigated the majority of it without our starting QB

all that considered... we're only 0.5 game back of SF in the race for HFA

How are you an LSU fan and 49er fan. A Cowboy fan I’d get, but a California team?

First team I was introduced to like in ‘96 by my uncle. We’re the only 9er fans in the family. But I like the Saints too though. I don’t see how anybody can be a cowboys fan I’m sorry...

This ain't the 1990's 49'ers when your uncle jumped on the bandwagon and took his naive nephew along for the ride.

Hey you’re absolutely right. I know he was a bandwagon fan. But I got on board during the downfall years and still stuck with them. I bleed red and gold and apart of me bleeds black and gold too. I ain’t ashamed to like both teams, but it’s always 49er first.
And don’t give me no bs about I only like the Saints bc they finally got a QB and a ring neither. I was there during the Aaron Brooks, Deuce, Joe Horn, and Michael Lewis (The former beer truck driver) era too...
