How? Public figures are open to being made fun of. Words no matter how harsh, are not forcing a dick inside a unwilling girl because how she's dressed. She's not public figure. You don't know her except walking by.
A public figure goes in front of the publi , speaks views, raises money for charity, promotes god, promotes atheism, laws, all I'm which are open to be made fun of is some a-hole wants to use words.

nobody here to my knowledge has argued that these idiots didn't have a legal right to say anything they did...but when you make inflammatory/offensive remarks, don't be surprised if repercussions follow.

From his MMQB article, he says that Team Gleason has already gotten the technology he uses to communicate, which was at a $20,000 price tag to get outfitted with, down to $6000 by simply working with the tech manufacturers on ways to improve.
They take ALS patients on trips with them.
Steve Gleason does a lot for ALS patients and families of ALS patients. That is why he is in the public. He isn't pushing a personal agenda, a religion, a law, or a charity. It is an ALS organization and they serve a great purpose.

Why would I post about someone making an a-hole comment about a non saint on a saints message board? Why would anyone do that? This makes no sense.
The closer you are to anything, the bigger the emotional response. We all know Steve is a great guy hence the animosity. I can say with absolute certainty that hearing anyone make jokes about a terminally ill persons life expectancy would rub me the wrong way.

He also has documentary filmmakers following him around and makes his video recordings o him around the time of diagnosis public, an I love him for it, but with all of that wrapped around the concussion debates and everything he would be unreasonable not to expect to maybe be the butt of a few tasteless jokes
