i think it buys him another shot next year as well
he will take credit for the team fighting back and staying competitive to the end saying if not for that first 5 minutes giving up 21 they win

i felt this way yet today the announcers talked about saints being lifeless and not into the game, then quoted kamara saying the team has no identity and nobody knows what they are doing, then they followed that by pointing out the SD was 9-1 all detroit fans. then the team got booed very loudly when taysom was coming off of the field early on.
those are the things that will embarrass the ownership if people keep talking like that. those are the things that get absentee owners to start paying closer attention

Came here to say this. A close win is the worst thing that could happen. Allen will say we’re close, just need to keep working and put the pieces together and the Loomis-Gayle-Lauscha Mafia will give him a big thumbs up and tell us everything’s fine, just be patient since we almost beat a good team.

If that happens, they will have no fan support next season. That dome will be a tomb if they trot him back out there. For the sake of the future of this franchise even continuing to exist in New Orleans, the Saints need to lose out.
