I never understood the hate. He can play literally anywhere along the o-line.
He's never been a top drawer starter but very versatile. Hopefully they can develop Simpkins he also has played guard and center.

In his prior stint with the Saints, a stationary traffic barrel would have been more productive at protecting Drew Brees than Will Clapp.

He was a terrible pro for the Saints.

How does he get paid this season as he's on injured reserve for the entire season? Is there a special pay rate for players like him?

Simpkins in that game looked better than I think I've ever seen Clapp look.

I never viewed Clapp as a guy that would provide "high-quality" depth. I saw him as a guy that could reasonably play 3 positions.

Simkin was blocking SEC tackles in most of those highlights. Look like he was throwing bodies around to me. Maybe we get lucky with a hungry guy.
