Honestly I was surprised Murray even had that much, but it also shows we have been historically great at finding backs in the draft and as UDFAs.

We literally just haven't needed to sign many in our entire history.

Who what when where why. No.

I mean, the great Jim Taylor did play a couple seasons with the Saints at the end of his career.

Just a single season (our literal first season), with a horrific 3.0 ypc and under 400 rushing yards total.

So to summarize. Latavius Murray is the answer w 1300 ish yards. Shows how rare Etienne signing is for saints.
This is kind of mind blowing if true

No if, it's true if we aren't going to count guys like Hill and Brooks. It's truly that extremely rare we ever sign a back to be THE GUY or even the 2nd guy because we always find one in the draft or UDFA.

Statistically he began his career as a saint

So say that, Chad. Otherwise, you are wrong in suggesting it is Murray.

ETA: Hill appeared in three preseason games for the Packers, completing 14 of 20 passes, throwing for two touchdowns, and rushing for another.
