Why was John Kasay cut by the Panthers?

dude was a beast for Carolina and is lights out for us as well. Any chance Hartley loses his starting gig when healthy?

for the season or in general? If Kasey was 10 years younger I could see them getting rid of Hartley, but they won't in this situation.

They actually replaced him with that a-hole Olindo Mare. If they were going with someone younger I don't see why replace him with a 38 year old.

he can't kickoff anymore either. If ya don't have a another player to do it then that takes another roster spot like the Panthers last year. No prob here cuz Morstead already does that. He was still 25/29 last year and 3/4 from 50+.

I'm most appreciative of what Kasay has done thus far for the Saints. Our Front office is the difference between the Saints of today and Saints of old. They know how to get key players that fit our unique puzzle.

a big part isn't knowing "how" to get players but being a team/destination that is attractive to where players wanna go. Rogers and Kreutz both clearly stated they came here for less money to be a part of what is going on here. Old days they had to overpay to get even second tier players. Kinda like what Cleveland or SF had to do to get Fujita or Goodwin.
