Secondly, people knocking holes in the theory of us calling to intentional tip our hand dismiss it as crazy because teams don't know who's calling who, but then say we fricked up calling early because then the 9ers somehow knew we were about to take him. Which fricking way do you want it?

bone... sometimes you get things. sometimes i don't know what planet you live on.

This is something that the saints should've recognized, that Seattle would be shopping the pick.

You think John Schneider didn't shop the pick to the Saints before trading the pick in division after the initial offer from San Fran?

Us calling with seconds left means the trade was in the works before we called and likely made before we called. So we didn't frick up if that's really the case.

We didn't call Foster with seconds left, the trade was made with Seconds left.

This is the link per Peter King who was in the San Fran war room. Good stuff on the Bears trade too.

didnt read the thread but this is the ultimate in fan nitpicking over nothing

As the story stated the deal was agreed upon eight minutes before the raft even started-

quote:

Eight minutes until the draft went live in Philadelphia. The Niners were fairly sure Garrett would go number one. Now they’d made a verbal deal with Pace for the number two pick.

The questions were for his girlfriend. Coach asked Foster to put his girlfriend on the line so he could ask her some questions. Kinda makes it even more bizarre

Lol several of us were wondering the same thing....Maybe Loomis wanted to holla(slang) at his girl.
