Why the Saints shouldn't walk away.

By staying in it, they force Atlanta to put as many pieces into the trade as possible, making them weaker. If we walk away now, Atlanta has all the leverage to lower the offer. Sure watson has final say of where he wants to go but houston has final say of whether they actually trade him or not. They are going to do what's best for them.

He’s a top 5 qb. That question is easy.

I get what you’re saying, but at some point their Plan B will want to sign w a team. If they are going to wait it out to try to screw over Atl, they better make sure Winston knows they are absolutely signing him

The trade packages are already agreed to. They aren't changing.
All that's left is for Watson to pick a team and waive his no trade clause. This has been reported for days nwo.

The offer was already made prior to the interview. This is all up to Watson at this point.

Wait, isn’t that what the Falcons are doing to us? Or is it vice versa?
Or is he a Falcons fan, or a Saints fan?
Or did the NFL block it!?
I can’t keep up with everyone’s opinion.

Right. It’s annoying but you just deal with that and wait.

It’s better than thinking it’s some conspiracy where Watson already knows where he’s going and is just dragging the saints on.

No other QB is going to sign or be traded until after Watson

They can always call and say that their previous offer is off the table and offer a new one. Just because they made an offer, it not written in stone. Just like Houston can call and demand more.
