Truth.
Also, I think they focused on getting bigger, tougher and building up the core of the team.
WR and QB are now are biggest needs. But we addressed a lot of needs like OL, DT, RB, LBer and S. Gotta start somewhere.

WRs are the last thing you add to a shitty team.

This is correct.
It will be years before this team can legitimately compete.

You guys like WRs cause yall ball watch and those are the only players who’s names you know
While this may be true, objectively, this team does need WRs. The problem is that it needs upgrades at a lot of positions.

Would not surprise me if they put in a call to Amari Cooper or Kennan Allen.

'm just thinking of the Eagles' approach to building a team. For the longest time they had a bunch of no names, then they addressed that position the last. They added AJ Brown, Devonta Smith, Dallas Goeddert at TE plus a bunch of role players. That may be what they're doing here.

Not a good WR draft at all

One of the worst WR drafts in recent memory. Tet would have been the WR5 at best in 2024 and 2022.

TEs are so athletic these days you can often have one of them be the “big bodied” guy.
Our TE group is lacking too

Brown is built like a tank and physical.

Don’t disagree. But doesn’t change the fact he’s not 6’3” and people were saying we needed guys with height.
More and more you’re seeing guys around 6 feet in the traditional WR1 role.

Why didn’t the Saints target a WR in this draft?
Because we don’t have anyone to throw to a WR…

We definitely need a couple more playmakers at WR. Our current WR corps is turrible.

The picks tell me we are opting to run the ball

WR class was hot garbage. Had other needs.
I’m fine with how it shook out. Overpay a little for Keenan Allen if you really want to.

Feel like we were eying the receiver from Arkansas. Lions traded up right in front of us to take him

wish we could have retained valdez-scantling

Don't forget there will be trades, cuts, and FA before season starts
