With the Seahawks playing the eagles and the Falcons playing the Vikings. The Seahawks are on the outside looking in but with a lost that would almost guarantee that the teams in the playoffs as of now stay in. Or do y'all want to still fight for home field advantage?

My answer is eagles over the Seahawks and Vikings and Falcons in a tie. I just can't see myself rooting for Atlanta unless they were in position to get us in the playoffs with a win.

realistically we’re probably out of the 1-2 seed race barring an Eagles meltdown, so we should be strictly rooting for things that can help us for sure make the playoffs. So for that reason: Eagles, Vikings.

What benefit do we get with Seahawks over Eagles? Unless we completely collapse and they go on an insane run (just look at their remaining schedule) we'd still be ahead of them.

As for Vikes/Falcons, at this point since we lost and Atl and Car keep winning we need the Vikes to win. Yes we can sweep the Falcons but we shouldn't act like that's in the bag.

That would maximize our position (as well as the Rams losing this week and we win) so we still have a shot at a 3 way tie to get the top spot while gaining ground in the division.

The benefit of Seahawks over eagles would put us closer to fighting for HFA throughout the playoffs, but at this point I just wanna get in so I'll take a Seahawks and Falcons lost

Whoever wins their respective games, I just hope that their wins are Pyrrhic victories.

Vikings and Eagles... I don't think we can catch either of them so better that we have fewer challengers on our heels.

I ALWAYS want Atlanta to lose.

The only way I could ever root for them is if the Saints need them to win to get into the playoffs that day.

I really don't want to have to go Philly or Minny in the playoffs. I trust us to take care of business against Carolina and Atlanta to seal the division, so I still want a shot at a top 2 seed.

I'd rather play the Seahawks than the Falcons in the playoffs.

Only logical answer is Seahawks and Falcons.

We want Seattle to win their division over the Rams who now hold the tiebreaker against us. That should guarantee us at least the #3 seed if we continue winning.

We also want the Vikings to lose, no matter who they play. Eagles as well. There is still a chance at the #2 or even possibly the #1 seed in the NFC.

If Saints beat Atlanta both times in the upcoming weeks, then the Saints would be responsible for them missing the playoffs.

Realistic best case scenario:
1. Eagles
2. Saints
3. Vikings
4. Seahawks
5. Panthers
6. Rams

7. Falcons

You always want what's best for the team, and the teams best interest is to make the playoffs regardless of seeding this close to each other.

So secure your division or wild card.

Vikings > falcons
Eagles > Seahawks

Two teams vying for playoff spots, 1 who is a direct competitor for your division.

I ain't scared of the division at this point. We control those games. We don't control the top seeded teams right now.

Gotta root against your division in situations like these. We need to have home field at some point in the playoffs.

We can force a 4 way tie at 13-3 and as long as it include the eagles (who we don't play) then the head to head loss with Minnesota and LA doesn't mean anything. We are #1 seed. In the below scenario, all the best record teams win their games except Philly loses to Seattle and LA Rams, and the vikings lose to Carolina next week. I think that is very reasonable.

The only team I am rooting for (except when they play us at the end) is the Buccs. They play Carolina and Atlanta once more before us.

Win the division first, worry about seeding later.

This is the exact reason why you don't give up on a top two seed.

Do people forget how the playoffs have fared for us on the road except for the exception of Philly in 2013? Home playoff games mean everything. "Just getting into the playoffs" is great and all, but to really make a run we need every edge we can get.
