Archie in 1981

I was 7 and a casual fan.

My grandpa was a big fan of the Saints. After he passed I became a bigger fan for him. Kind of carry on the tradition.

Didn't grow up a Saints fan. My dad was never an NFL fan. He did like Favre so we were Packer "fans".

When the Saints hired Payton and Signed Brees I had just gotten into NFL and decided to pull for my "home" state's team.

My earliest memories are when Jim Everett was the starter, but I didn’t grasp football until Jeff Blake was the starter. That’s the day my blood pressure was never the same during a Saints game.

I remember the very end of Archie. I also have a memory of Richard Todd and vividly remember the Kenny “the snake” Stabler season.

The first Saints game I remember attending was the Eagles playoff game when Mora was coaching, his last playoff game with the Saints IIRC. Went with my dad, didn't wholly understand the game at that point. Guess I started truly understanding what was going on when the Billy Joe's were running the town.
