QB coach in Detroit is Nuss Sr, . When KM gets hired I think he brings Nuss Sr. With him. With that I think we draft Nuss for future QB. Nuss has been around football his whole life. I think he needs some schooling. Sloan isn’t the coach some here thinks he is. If he cuts down on turnovers he would be pretty good QB.

He would no doubt draft one in the 3rd-5th round range at the very least as a project he could put on the field and see if he can play or not while we tank next year and then get a top 5 draft pick along with being out of cap hell with money to spend. 2026 is the year to draft our next franchise QB when we will be in the mix for the top pick. Watch it end up being Arch Manning. As for this year if guys like Jaxon Dart or Kyle McCord fall into their lap at the right time I say why not?

Anyone who watched him both at Duke & this season with Notre Dame would know that his abilities as a passer isn't much better than Milroe.

He won't draft a QB this year if he's smart.

There are no rookies that are going to come in and play better than Carr.

You can’t possibly believe this nonsense.

Good grief.

We’ve been through this a zillion times. Carr is a mid level average QB. Not great, not terrible. Most rookie QBs aren’t good. There are exceptions like Stroud and Jayden Daniels. Even 1st overall guys like Caleb Williams & Bryce Young struggle. Lamar and Josh Allen had bad years starting out.

No rookie in this class is going to come in and outplay an experienced NFL QB. Especially with no offensive line (which we don’t have) and no #1 WR (which we don’t have).

Teams that just keep playing the QB lottery are teams like the Browns that draft top 5 QBs year after year hoping they change the teams fortunes. Doesn’t work. Don’t fall victim to shiny hopes. Do the work to fix the team while you search for a QB.

He said he wasn't taking a paycut. I don't blame him but the Saints could tell him to pack his bags and eat the contract.
