There may be too much talk of the Rd 1 WRs. What about Rd3 or Rd4 guys? Trade up or back into rd2?

Most pundits have ~20 WR in the top 100

Chew on this

Top 25 2019 receiving yards leaders

1. Mike Thomas, pick 47
3. Chris Godwin pick 84
5. Keenan Allen, pick 76
6. Kenny Golladay, pick 96
9. Jarvis Landry, pick 63
11. Cooper Kupp, pick 69
13. Allen Robinson, pick 61
15. Robert Woods, pick 41
16. Stefon Diggs, pick 146
17. Julian Edelman, pick 232
19. Michael Gallup, pick 81
20. John Brown, pick 91
21. Tyler Lockett, pick 69
23. AJ Brown, pick 51
24. Tyler Boyd, pick 55

Pittman?
Higgins?
Hamler?
Clay pool?
Edwards?
Jefferson?
Gandy Golden?
Bowden?
Collin Johnson?
Duvernay?
Proche?

Does the answer lie within this list?

I think Pittman will go far earlier than people expect. If he was there at 88 its a no brainer, even if he duplicates MT.

I do like Duvernay in the 4th-ish, even if he is a little stiff.

Proche is really interesting to me in the 5th or 6th.

Claypool is very well liked on this board.

I imagine you'll get a lot of people wanting Van Jefferson, although I do have some reservations on him.

2) Van Jefferson

If Higgins is there at 88 you take the chance.

Pittman?
Higgins?
Hamler?
Clay pool?

These would require a trade up I reckon

Duvernay at 130 would make a great Ginn replacement. He’d also be perfect for the jet sweeps payton loves to run

I kinda like KJ Hill in the mid rounds.

All time reception leader at Ohio State. Punt/kick return ability. Good route runner with dependable hands.

Not a dynamic home run hitter, but will be a super dependable (Lance Moore, Willie Snead) type guy who can convert that 3rd and short for a first down.

Higgins

6’4 215lb mismatch nightmare. Very underrated speed. Can play all three WR spots. Draws a lot of pass interferences. Tracks the ball well. Catch zone radius. Think AJ Green.

My understanding is that Higgins is projected to go late 1st/early 2nd so I don't see him being in our 3rd round range

He won’t be there. Good trade up option though.

I think Higgins reminds me of Colston a bit. He wasn’t as fast as people thought but it plays on tape. I can see him getting open up the middle of the field and being a RZ presence

I’m not sure Hamler is much different than deonte Harris

I like Higgins because besides Thomas who do we have that actually attacks the ball and wins those 50/50 balls?

I like Hill. He screamed Saints to me when watching tOSU. If they go slot type of guy he could be in play

Trade up or back into rd2?

Dolphins, on top of their 3 1RD picks, have picks 2.39 & 2.56 & come back up again at 3.70

many people are speculating that next year we will get a 3Rd compensation for Bridgewater.

They could use that to move up this year. Maybe some combination of a 2021 2nd & a 2021 3rd. Or 3.88 this year.

I supposed many teams will see that and target Miami if they want to move up, so the price could be driven up.

I was watching his highlights yesterday. He's interesting to me.

I'm deep on the Jalen Reagor paintrain, but he will be long long gone by 88.

Yes and Yes. The others will probably all be in the second. Hell, Pittman might be in the first round. Proche, Jefferson and Duvernay will be there though and will be solid pros and upgrades over TreQuan

In theory, we could also move back from 24 and be in range for a lot of these guys.
