Depends on Andy. We won't offer him much more than min. cause we can't. We would take him in a heartbeat. But he showed he can play and we will get out bid no doubt but does he want to stay?

I would say the best vet min QB out there and we will draft or UDFA QB this year. Or two/three.

I’d sign Adrian McPherson

I'd assume Winston is gone. Dalton is a serviceable back up.

Dalton is a free agent. He played for $3mm last year

We’re better off keeping Jameis because he only saves $4-5mm by being cut. Dalton will want $5mm to re-sign, if he’d even agree to it since there is no legitimate path to starting this year

Winston isn't staying here. He'll ask to be traded or get cut. Him not wanting to play in the Rams game says it all. He won't play for this organization.

Taysom is 7-2 as a starter and arguably won us 3-4 of our games last year.

So get some bullshite 3rd string QB to take practice reps and if worse comes to worse, just play Taysom at QB. He’s probably better than Carr at this point anyway.

Hooker is still a guy to probably bring in and interview and take in the 2nd or 3rd rd.

It’s very possible this Carr thing goes really bad and he’s only here for a year anyway.

He is saying he is your backup if you need a #2 to finish a game or start 1-2.

You do realize, it is not just about the cap numbers. Winston's salary is $12.8 million next year. That is cash out the door. There is no way the Saints pay him that much to be the backup. I would love for him to take a pay cut and remain as backup, but do not see it.

Arguably, if you create a system around him like Carolina did with Cam and Baltimore did with Lamar.

Taysom gets too much hate on here. He’s pretty decent tbh. The main issues with him are probably age and health due to his physical playstyle.

Taysom might not be the purest thrower of the football, but the team plays hard when he plays and you can’t really measure that impact statistically other than it wins us games.

We probably go 11-6 or 10-7 starting Taysom last year in arguably the shittiest division in league history. (Assuming Taysom stayed healthy all season).

Winston is gone.

Dalton will sign somewhere he can play or back up for a championship

Hill is staying

draft a young guy in the late rounds to groom as a backup.

I might even consider drafting Hooker if he's there at 71 but I doubt he will make it out of the 2nd round.
