no one believed me. Pre-draft, I told everyone he's another Rocket Ishmael. Fast and flashy and hyped in college, but nothing more than a good punt returner at the pro level. The verbal lashing that ensued was one that injured my heart and soul forever. But here it is, three years later. Bush has as many fumbles as career rushing TDs, and a 3.5 yard per carry career average. If his name was not Reggie Bush, would he have even made the team this year?

Let's ignore the fact that he's the best punt returner in the NFL for a moment

you're still an idiot

do people in real life listen to you? Do you say things for 'shock value'?

Bush is far from a bust. Incredible PR/solid WR/good RB.

Good running back?

He averages 500 a season rushing. 3.5 career average. Longest rush of his career is under 30 yards.

He's one of the worst running backs in the league.

He's a good punt returner.

he isnt a good rb. but he can make plays in the passing game and on punt returns. He is a guy that should see 7-10 touches a game. we just cant rely on him to run the ball and be successful.

+1

Michael Turner, Frank Gore, Thomas Jones, Chris Johnson, and plenty more successful backs were NOT taken number two overall in the draft, and Reggie needs to produce like the aforementioned RB's.

Your sentence is extremely choppy. Please rephrase it.

I think we need to just move him from RB to WR. I don't understand why they even keep trying to put him back there. He has proven to be good in the passing game. He has good hands, he is 6'0, and he is really fast. He sounds like a great WR to me. Let him continue to be a return man.

He won't be a saint that much longer anyways. I think he bolts for a bigger market or the west coast as soon as he can. I would say as a RB he has been a bust, but he has talent to still be a very big part of the offense.

The team is +.500 without him and -.500 with him

No power run attack will see us always hover around .500 That's not good enough for most of us.

Hey morons, he's not a running back. I dont care what hes listed at, hes basically a slot receiver that can play out the backfield. Oh yea, he led the league in TD's and receptions before he got hurt and is the top in recetions the last 3 years (before injury).

I've been saying this for a while now.

The team wins more without Bush. Brees plays better without Bush, since we have a running game that teams have to respect.
