But you can judge DA this year. I don't think he will get any "new coach" grace period and he shouldn't. Don't care much about we think. I do care how the players and coaches have responded to his leadership. That should be the main concern.

agreed, i was just following the remark about hiring a new OC, if he did that he buys himself at least another year and most likely 2 more years.

i personally think ogeron could do better coaching this team than allen can and ogeron is a clueless idiot

What's disappointing is DA had lessons to learn from his first HC job. Then he had years to learn from Loomis and CSP.

He has learned nothing from where I sit. This is why I would make a change asap.

They're not winning another game. Yesterday was the best chance, and we all saw how that panned out.

Some people just aren't made for certain jobs

Allen is certainly a good defensive strategist, but HC requires a certain flavor I think it's clear he does not have

DA sucks, but this job will be a lot more attractive after the ‘23 season than now. I don’t know that we’d want anybody who would actually take the gig. The better long-term move may be to make him eat shite for another season.

I hate Dennis Allen with a passion and have even before he became head coach. But I do not think he should be fired. Not because he doesn’t deserve it, he clearly does. But, the reality is, the Saints are going to need to tank next year for a QB1. The surest way to guarantee that happens is to retain Allen one more year. Also, it would be unfair to bring in a new coach knowing he will have to tank his first year. So, as much as I hate it, the Saints need to keep Allen one more season. Now the one who needs to be removed immediately is Mickey Loomis before he can mortgage the future of this team any further or give away anymore star players or top 5 draft picks.

While this certainly looks like 0-3 on paper all 3 of those teams are beatable on any given day. Niners were pretty meh all night against a massively depleted chargers. Bucs/rams a couple weeks ago was a rock fight. I do think we’ve gotta go back to Jameis now though.

as would i and just about anyone with a brain

sadly though, its not up to us, its a gayle decision, and i doubt she even thinks we have a problem, i could see her thinking we are just having a bad year with a lot of injuries

who under her, other than loomis, is tasked with overseeing the teams day to day football organization? is there anyone?

We just lost by double digits to the Steelers. All three of these teams are going to pummel us with the way we are playing.

Honestly I can't believe they didn't fire him the other night after Pittsburgh.
