What time will Champions Square open Sunday?

Isnt it always open? It is the 1400 block of LaSalle a public street that the State/Superdome agreed to rent from the city for special events but has debated how much they should pay for nearly a decade.

I would walk in rolling a full cooler of drinks whenever you want and if security tries to stop you, cite this article and then ask to see the city police. Legally they cannot stop you. Until the state agrees on an amount, pays the back money owed and signs the lease, champion square is still a public thoroughfare.

Where should I pregame? I went to the Nail before the Skins game but it wasn’t very lively. Hit Lucy’s before Pittsburg and it was a Greco Roman clusterfrick. I tend to enjoy Pat O’s prior to the games. Perfect mix. Any other ideas?
