What kind of chances are we giving the Saints against the Pats?

My keys to the game will be:
1) for the defense to get to Maye early and often, Pats Oline is giving up the 2nd most sacks at 17/ 5 games. (Titanas 1st with 19/5 games)
2) Defense needs to see ball get ball. Saints are a +5 TO ratio Patriots are -1 TO ratio.
3) Saints get the running game cranking with Kamara/Miller and now with T-Hill back in this line up.

*** Side note, I finished eating my whole plate of baked crow. Really did not expect to see Hill back until late in the season if at all. (Sounds like neither did he early on in the process.)

Think there will be a bit of a natural let down from their win against buffalo. If there isn’t then they’re well on their way to being a really good team. I’d say 30-35% chance.

Against my better judgment, I picked the Saints to win a close one.

Go with your gut, I picked them to win last week.

I'm on the fence currently but could be persuaded if we hear they the finally took the bubble wrap off of Chase Young.

I think Maye Punches the Saints in the Mouth and shows Saints Nation what a real QB looks like.

Patriots by 15 minimum

I made a few $ on the saints last week NYG coming off a big win was in for a letdown . This week the same senerio NE just beat the Bills, natural letdown time.Saint are starved to keep playing hard and being at home.

I'll wait to form my opinion until I hear what James Skrmetta says.

Dude is golden.

20% We played an awful Giants team. We need to finish drives to compete. On a better note the O line did seem to click better.

defense is equally impressive this week. difference is we finally turn a few opportunities into TDs. Saints win 27-23.

I don’t think the Patriots are very good. Their young quarterback is certainly improving, so that is a big step in the right direction.
I know the Saints suck. Rattled will put up meaningless stats by throwing for 9 yards on 3rd and 13, but he won’t score many points. I don’t believe the Saints can win, but they might make it close against a 7-10 Pats team. Unless the Pats commit many TOs, they win 24-13.

Giants are not an awful team, but they definitely had an awful game on Offense.
They also didn't "give it away" or "shoot themselves in the foot" like many nega-saints fans are saying, Saints defense made plays and forced all the takeaways save for the 1 that Dart fumbled without contact.

I say 55/45 this game in favor of Patriots, with STs giving them the edge. Two similar, evenly matched teams with new HCs and young 2nd year QBs.

NE has a PR-TD & a KR-TD plus our coverage teams stink so I expect them to have good starting field position. Also their kicker is 7-8 FGs on the year, but 12-14 XPs.

Stephon Diggs usually has a good game against us and historically we do not cover TEs well so Hunter Henry could also have a significant game.

-Patriots averaging 95 rush yards & 242 pass yards per game
-Saints averaging 116 rush yards & 201 pass yards per game
-Maye 113-153 (73.9%) / 1,261yds / 7TD-3INT / 107.8 rating / 8.2ypa
-Rattler 119-177 (67.2%) / 990yds / 6TD-1IINT / 90.4 rating / 5.6ypa
-Diggs 29/34 (85%) for 359 (12.4ypr) & 0TD
-Olave 33/54 (61%) for 244 (7.4ypr) & 1TD
-Maye sacked 17 times (10% rate)
-Rattler sacked 9 times (4.8% rate).
-Defensively we each have 11 sacks on the year.
-Defensively the last 3 weeks: NE has 1 sack, 2, INTs, 3 FFs while NO has 3 sacks, 3 INTs, 3 FFs.

I don’t think it will be a blowout. But I also don’t think they will have 5 turnovers like the Giants did. Also, NE has a few legit receiving options where NYGs just have scrubs.

I think we can run against NE, but I don’t see Rattler’s red zone troubles improving that much this week.

I’d say 20/25% chance of winning.

I think this will be a telling game. Pats are playing well. If we win I think there are four to five more wins we could find.
If not I would predict a top 3 pick next year.

The only game where the Saints haven't been competitive was against the Seahawks on the road

The last time I checked New England was favored by 3.5 so I guess that's about right?

I don't think they Pats are going to be up for this game like they were last week against Buffalo

But I also don't think our defense is going to get five turnovers off the Patriots like they did the Giants.
