I was most impressed with the entire staff. Game plan on both sides of the ball was great, and SP was on it during the game.

Rob Ryan and CSP are so critical that a well executed gameplan won us a game that historically (neg. turnover margin) we should have lost.

It was a brilliant game plan by Sean Payton, who often gets obsessed with breaking tendencies and getting too cute to "trick" the other team.

Run the football. Keep the defense rested. Don't let the Eagles get into a rhythm. Calling that time out in the first quarter won the game.

Well, that and having the balls to screw loyalty and cut Garrett Hartley.

Gotta give Shayne Graham some love. 4 - 4 and the game winner.

Defense- the Eagles looked like they just had average, generic players at RB and WR, instead of a couple Pro Bowl guys in Jackson and McCoy.

Running game- it was pure beast all night long. Ingram has found redemption in my eyes- he looked like an absolute nightmare to tackle last night. Stayed fresh too, because you lost nothing by subbing Robinson in for breathers. The O-line was dominant.

Play-calling on the final drive: you can't say enough about what Payton and Brees did. 5 minutes to go, your defense is bleeding badly, and you need a FG to win. Stayed patient, never gave in to the temptation to go play-action and get the quick strike, even though that's the team's bread and butter. That was playoff coaching at it's best.

See, I thought his play calling was shoddy. He didn't run the ball enough.

WE had that one drive where we pounded them on the ground all the way down the field. And when we get the ball back, and we throw it on 1st down? Of course its incomplete, and we are stuck in 2nd and long, despite getting 5+ a carry.

the end around to Stills on 1st down was terrible, again, considering how good we were running it right at them.

another time we had the ball 3rd and 10 at our own 20, and ran it to Sproles out of the shotgun, pretty much conceding a punt. Since when has Payton been afraid to throw it on 3rd down? In my opinion we were playing not to lose at that point.

It's a playoff game, so it may be extra nitpicky. But every play is so important.

What impressed me the most? The fact that they won.

I'm grateful. You know he was going to try that at least once, because he's Sean Payton. I'm grateful that it wasn't on 3rd down this time.

I didn't have a problem with him going conservative that time. There was still time to recover if the Eagles scored.

Payton's play calling was far from impressive in the first half

twice we passed the ball 3 straight times and couldn't gain 10 yards when we were gashing them with the run. so frustrating

Payton finally figured it out in the 2nd half…only took him 4 years since the Super Bowl

Yeah, he made 1 hard one, two medium ones, and a short one.

I don't think Hartley coulda done that, kudos.

He would have missed the short one.
